Accounts Payable Clerk

TCR² Therapeutics Inc. is an immuno-oncology company developing novel cancer therapies that unleash the full signaling power of complete T cell receptors (TCR). TCR² has developed a unique proprietary TRuC™ platform which can reprogram the natural TCR complex to recognize specific antigens found on tumors where they elicit rapid killing of cancer cells. The company has demonstrated activity against both hematological and solid tumor targets in preclinical models and believes its TRuC™-reprogrammed T cells will serve as the engine for important therapies.  TCR² was founded by MPM Capital and has scientific operations in Cambridge, MA to leverage best-in-class technologies and nucleate top-tier academic laboratories around the world.

We are seeking an individual who is detail oriented, highly organized, and able to work effectively within a team environment.  The ideal candidate will have accounts payable experience.  Additionally, the top candidate must be able to meet frequent deadlines and to perform responsibilities within a tight schedule.

Job Complexity:

The role requires attention to detail, ability to organize and input data, and process payments of various types. 


  • Timely and accurate invoice processing including printing, approval, and proper general ledger coding

  • Manage vendor accounts and setup of new vendors including receipt of W-9 form from vendors

  • Payment of vendors by check, ACH, wire or Netsuite file extract for upload into banking platform

  • Organize and manage accounts payables files

  • Monthly credit card and bank account reconciliation

  • Process expense reports through Concur and audit accuracy and policy compliance

  • Adhere to and maintain internal control processes surrounding vendor management and invoice processing

  • Assist with annual financial audit tasks as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

  • A flexible and collaborative approach to work

  • Associates degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant accounts payable experience required

  • Basic accounting knowledge and a thorough understanding of the accounts payable process

  • Problem-solving skills with focus on efficiency

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently

  • Experience with Netsuite, Concur, and JPM Chase ACCESS platform preferred
