Research Associate/ Senior Research Associate, Immuno-Pharmacology

TCR² Therapeutics Inc. is an immuno-oncology company developing novel cancer therapies that unleash the full signaling power of complete T cell receptors (TCR). TCR² has developed a unique proprietary TRuC™ platform which can reprogram the natural TCR complex to recognize specific antigens found on tumors where they elicit rapid killing of cancer cells. The company has demonstrated activity against both hematological and solid tumor targets in preclinical models and believes its TRuC™-reprogrammed T cells will serve as the engine for important therapies.  TCR² was founded by MPM Capital and has scientific operations in Cambridge, MA to leverage best-in-class technologies and nucleate top-tier academic laboratories around the world.

The successful candidate will join the immuno-pharmacology group to assist with evaluation of T cell therapeutics for oncology. The candidate will assist with mouse models of cancer including xenograft and syngeneic models.  This position offers an exciting opportunity to be responsible for key aspects of the development of new TRuC-T cell therapies. 


  • Establishment of subcutaneous and systemic tumor models, injection of tumor cells by subcutaneous and iv routes, and delivery of test article by iv injection

  • Monitoring of mouse body weight/health and tumor monitoring by caliper measurement and imaging

  • Propagation of tumor cell lines, maintenance of freezer tumor cell line stocks

  • Blood collection and processing, necropsy, and harvesting of tissues

  • Excellent record keeping, maintenance of lab notebook


  • BS/BA degree in Biological Sciences

  • In vivo mouse model expertise, including mouse tumor models

  • Excellent sterile technique and maintenance of cell lines 

  • Familiarity with analysis of tissues/cells by flow cytometry desirable

  • Excellent communication/organizational skills and attention to detail is essential

  • Candidate must be well-organized, a team player and able to work collaboratively with Research groups
