Scientist / Senior Scientist, Translational Research

The Translation Scientist position represents an excellent opportunity for career development and cross training in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. The successful candidate will contribute to both preclinical and clinical programs to advance TCR²’s platform and growing adoptive T cell therapy portfolio. This position will report to the Head of Translational Research.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the design, development, execution, analysis and report writing of in vitro pharmacology studies in support of IND submissions for our leading candidates

  • Work collaboratively across internal discovery, manufacturing and clinical groups, external collaborators and CROs to co-ordinate activities and timelines to ensure seamless execution of pre-clinical and clinical studies.

  • Manage the transfer of technical protocols and SOPs to CROs and academic collaborators.

  • Contribute to reports, data packages for regulatory submissions, scientific manuscripts and internal and external presentations.

  • Provide scientific and technical support in assay development/validation and biomarker research in the context of early-stage clinical trials.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Immunology or similar discipline.

  • A minimum of 3 years of research experience in academia or industry with a strong track record of scientific contribution as demonstrated by scientific publications and patent submissions.

  • Hands-on expertise in optimization and validation of ligand binding immunoassays, T cell functional assays, multi-parametric flow cytometry, real-time PCR and next generation sequence analysis.

  • Prior experience/knowledge of GLP/GCLP regulations is desirable.

  • A strong grounding in statistical analysis methods and/or prior experience with analysis of large biological datasets is a plus.

  • Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills

  • A strong record of demonstrated analytical reasoning and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to drive research independently and as part of cross-functional teams
