Senior Research Associate/Scientist, Process Development (Chromatography)
TCR² Therapeutics Inc. is an immuno-oncology company developing novel cancer therapies that unleash the full signaling power of complete T cell receptors (TCR). TCR² has developed a unique proprietary TRuC™ platform which can reprogram the natural TCR complex to recognize specific antigens found on tumors where they elicit rapid killing of cancer cells. The successful candidate will join our Process Development group working on the production of lentiviral vectors, development of purification strategies, and the support of technology transfer to CMOs. Provide technical expertise in liquid chromatography systems required to support and advance our development platform.
Assist in design, execution, and evaluation of experiments to purify lentiviral vectors using chromatographic applications
Assist analytics team in evaluation of in-process and endpoint samples
Develop new protocols and procedures based on literature reviews and emerging technologies.
Write SOPs and reports to facilitate program advancement and technology transfer to CMOs.
Coordinate with various internal groups for the generation and evaluation of emerging vector products.
Represent TCR² at scientific presentations and meetings.
B.S. or M.S. biochemistry, protein chemistry or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years experience or Ph.D. preferably in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting.
Experience with protein or nanoparticle purification on AKTA or similar systems using affinity, SEC, or ion-exchange chromatography is required.
Previous experience with retroviral vector systems, production and purification, is strongly desired.
Excellent bench skills with attention to details and high standards for data integrity and quality.
Experience with mammalian cell culture in CHO, HEK293, or similar cell lines.
Experience in flow cytometry is advantageous.
The candidate should be a team player, highly organized with excellent communication skills, and demonstrate scientific rigor and excellent problem solving skills.
